CO-OCCURRING DISORDER SPECIALIST (IMPART)

Columbia, MO

As a member of our Infant, Mother & Prenatal Assessment & Recovery Team (IMPART), you'll provide individual and group therapy in home and community settings, helping moms and moms-to-be tackle addiction and improve their overall well-being. But that's not all – you'll also connect them with vital resources like parenting classes, mental health services, and supported employment opportunities. With IMPART, you'll be part of a comprehensive, coordinated approach to care that addresses the unique needs of each family. From medication-assisted treatment to education on child development, we offer a wide range of services designed to help parents thrive.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group co-occurring disorder therapy to clients in community/home settings

  • Offer cross-training and education to other team members as needed

  • Receive L1MA training and assistance with medication distribution as necessary

  • Perform crisis interventions as required

  • Conduct chemical health assessments with clients

  • Work variable shifts, including weekends and on-call duties

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year experience working with substance use treatment

  • Valid Driver's License & Auto Insurance

  • Reliable vehicle & favorable driving record

  • Flexible to work variable shifts, including weekends and on-call.

Education

  • Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.OR...

  • Bachelor's Degree (Human Services fields of study preferred) AND Missouri Substance Use Credential of at least a CADC or higher

OR one of the following...

  • Qualified Mental Health Provider

  • Qualified Addictions Professional

  • PLPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW
