DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Game Land Maintenance Worker 1, your primary responsibility will be to perform semi-skilled work and other tasks related to the maintenance, repair, and construction of bridges, roads, parking areas, gates, posting signs, and ranges. Other duties you will perform may include, but are not limited to the following: Assisting with mowing and habitat management Maintaining parking facilities Operating heavy equipment and chainsaws Assisting with herbicide and pesticide storage, transport, mixing, and application Maintaining hunter access and hiking trails Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Temporary, full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of laboring experience using construction tools and equipment; or One year of farming experience using agricultural tools and equipment; or One year of construction equipment operation experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Special Requirements: You must possess a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent. All positions are required to obtain an active Class A Commercial Driver's License within one year of employment in this job. Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.
