Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in billing processes, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen eye for accuracy. This role offers the opportunity for growth and potential long-term employment with our company.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and send out invoices accurately and in a timely manner

• Review billing documents for accuracy and completeness

• Follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve any billing discrepancies

• Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, and customer interactions

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy and resolve issues

• Assist with month-end billing processes as needed

• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders regarding billing inquiries

  Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred

• 1+ years of experience in billing, accounting, or related field

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

• Experience with billing software or ERP systems is a plus
