Oracle NetSuite is looking for an experienced professional to be part of our pre-sales Solution Specialist team responsible for developing innovative customer facing solutions. We are looking for someone who will thrive on the challenge of working in a fast-moving cloud sales environment and who has a passion for innovation and how technology can help businesses succeed.

As a NetSuite Data and Analytics Solution Specialist, your role here will be to work on NetSuite Analytics Warehouse leading edge NetSuite product capabilities to develop compelling customer demo solutions across multiple verticals. You will be required to understand and configure NetSuite ERP and NetSuite Analytics Warehouse and at times be asked to present the strengths, benefits, and competitive advantages to both external customers and internal audiences. You will work closely with all the go to market teams including product, marketing, pre-sales, professional services, etc. to drive new customer growth as well as helping our existing customers achieve their business goals by expanding their solution footprint.

The ideal candidate has both industry experience and financial accounting knowledge having used ERP and Data Analytics platforms for managing business processes in one or more of the following areas:

  • Extract-Transform-Load (ETL)

  • Data Warehousing, Modelling, Validation, and Visualization specifically related to ERP/Financial functional areas

  • Integration between common ERP and transactional systems

  • Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

  • Inventory Management

  • Order to Cash and Procure to Pay

  • Revenue Recognition

  • Financial Management & Accounting

  • ERP System Administration

  • Database Administration

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Drive revenue by aiding the field sales organization and prospective customers with your knowledge of the NetSuite cloud ERP solution, NetSuite Analytics Warehouse, Oracle Analytics Cloud and related industries.

  • Collaborate with sales to develop and deliver high quality demonstrations to customers and partners. Where appropriate, working with Solution Consultants to package these demonstrations as reusable assets for the field.

  • Management of NetSuite demonstration environments through data management and implementation of new and updated features to impact sales efficiency and success.

  • Interact with product teams to improve NetSuite offerings, capabilities, and guide enhancements.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of an ERP sales cycle for new and existing customers.

  • Strong understanding of ERP business processes in areas mentioned above

  • Strong in Microsoft Excel (including VBA scripting)

  • Strong knowledge of data management, data integration, and database administration tools including SQL, relational database concepts, multi-dimensional data modelling, ETL tools

  • Experience working with diverse range and quality of data sources

  • Strong knowledge of how data platforms can be implemented to drive value and transform customer business processes

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You must be able to troubleshoot.

  • Strong project management skills and good with details

  • Knowledge of financial reporting and general accounting principles.

Responsibilities

Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.

US: Hiring Range: from $90,100 to $147,600 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 50/50 - 70/30.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
