Responsibilities You will assist the Distribution Manager in the daily administration of the personal property program to ensure consistently high quality and timely personal property services are provided to authorized personnel.. You will manage the Personal Property Division which provides personal property services for authorized personnel.. You will serve as the ordering officer for local moves. You will assist with the formulation of the annual budget for the Distribution Management Department. You will Supervises a team of civilian and military staff providing administrative and technical guidance to provide a full range of personal property services. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzes and interpret policies, procedures and guidelines for shipment, inspections, and storage of personal property daily operations; investigate techniques to problem solve to implement course of action and/or develop new program directives; develop and execute financial funds for the annual budget; and provide oral and written communication to personnel and transportation providers. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
