Candidates should be committed to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, development of sponsored research programs, supervision of student research, student mentoring, and academic service
Minimum Experience / Education:
UNC Charlotte gives primary consideration to the earned doctorate or terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Expertise in applying large-scale modeling, AI and machine learning in environmental engineering design and decision-making; public health protection; climate change; environmental risk assessment; sustainability; green and resilient infrastructure, and/or other emerging areas of environmental engineering.
