On site, manufacturers rely on our expertise in providing full management of these gases, advanced molecules and equipment and in helping to continuously improve production processes. The Advanced Equipment Systems Division (AES) is a focused group within the larger Air Liquide Electronics (ALE) organization that specializes in providing chemical and specialty gas management equipment solutions. Team members are chemical and mechanical engineers, electrical and controls engineers, programmers, manufacturing technicians and field service engineers. The core expertise of this team includes everything related to the delivery of process molecules: equipment design, material compatibility, safety requirements, component selection, controls design and integration, flow and pressure optimization, installation and start-up, and turnkey project management. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? The Electrical Designer will create designs and technical drawings for chemical dispense systems and blending equipment. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers and other professionals within the AES Project Engineering group to create and improve manufacturing systems and processes and develop drawings for a wide variety of equipment. Works with all disciplines on project teams to meet schedules and project deliverables. Includes participation in design and safety reviews, status updates and process documentation as needed. Working with other team members, ensures the implementation of customer specifications for controls systems and equipment. Modifies and creates schematics from concepts and "red-lined" documents. Specifies and sources electrical components for design - reviews electrical Bills of Materials as required for accuracy and appropriate component selection. Interfaces with production employees to assure high quality manufacturing and "Best Practices" in the electrical area. Reviews and approves changes to the electrical manufacturing processes and standards. Initiates, updates and approves Electrical ECO's. Generates and maintains high level layouts, labeling instructions and wiring instructions. Reviews electrical quality and testing procedures. Performs other duties as assigned or as necessary to meet the needs of internal and external customers. Implementation of standard schematic design and documentation. Implementation of component selection standards. Interface with Final Test on electrical testing and safety. Electrical assembly - when required. ___ Are you a MATCH? Requirements: Associates Degree or High School Diploma and equivalent experience. Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical and MS Office (Excel, Word), Agile. Ability to read, edit and create electrical P&ID and schematics. General knowledge of computers, software and electronics. Electrical manufacturing expertise. AC and DC circuit design experience. Familiar with UL508 and IEC requirements, including certification.
