8th Avenue Food & Provisions is a growing organization made up of businesses that produce and sell quality products including pasta, peanut butter, granola, and fruit and nut trail mixes to retail, foodservice and ingredient customers. The company was formed in October 2018 through a combination of Post Holdings’ private brands businesses and is owned by Post Holdings and funds affiliated with Thomas H. Lee Partners, L.P. (“THL”), a private equity firm. Position Summary: Palletizers play a critical role in ensuring our final product is ready to ship to our customer. This position is responsible for operating the packaging system to ensure finished product is packed, sealed, and prepared for shipping according to product specifications

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Operates semi-automatic packaging equipment including sealing and labelling product according to product specifications and while ensuring accuracy in weights and codes · Palletizes and stretch wraps finished product for storage or shipment · Performs minor repairs, routine maintenance, and sanitation work on equipment · Inspects and conducts regular deep cleaning of equipment · Maintains records and proper tracking of packaged products and rejects · Operates in accordance with health, safety and fire prevention regulations and practices · Partner with company leadership to proactively identify and execute on continuous improvement opportunities in the areas of: safety, food safety, quality, productivity, and sanitation · Other duties, as assigned

Education and Experience Required:

· Must be able to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed · Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

· High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution · Previous experience repairing mechanical equipment

Physical Requirements: Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation: · Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds · Must be able to crouch, kneel, sit for up to 3+ hours per shift · Must be able to climb and down ladders for up to 3+ hours per shift · Must be able to work in a dusty environment up to 3+ hour per shift · Must be able to balance, bend, stoop and walk for up to 6+ hours per shift · Must be able to stand for 8+ hours per shift · Must be able to reach above shoulders for 8+ hours per shift · Must be able to work in high heat/humidity for to 8+ hours per shift
