Job Summary: In accordance with the organization’s mission, vision and values, the Director of Supportive Living is responsible for ensuring the daily operation success of FLACRA’s Supportive Living scattered sites. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Health/Human Services and three years experience. Valid NYS Drivers’ License. Must have prior management experience and be a Qualified Health Professional.

Job Requirements:

Duties:

  1. Facilitates motivational team building and group supervision.

  2. Provides direct supervision to staff on a regular basis including use of various audits and observations.

  3. Complete staff evaluations as prescribed by the agency.

  4. Lead and participate in general, staff, in-service and supervisory meetings held by the Agency.

  5. Maintain required reporting, records and statistics as directed.

  6. Develops and maintain positive and effective relationships with community groups, referral sources and service agencies.

  7. Recruits, screens and interviews prospective staff. Assess staff training needs and assist in the development of those needs.

  8. Participate in community presentations and training programs.

  9. Training of all new direct reports.

  10. Assure agency and program compliance and ensure fidelity in strategic business goals.

  11. Demonstrates teamwork and an ability to work in a team environment with coworkers, supervisors, and other departments. Demonstrates the ability to be flexible and cooperative.

  12. Responds appropriately to crisis/emergency situations in order to ensure/secure the safety/well-being of the clients.

  13. Assures all documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner in compliance with agency/OASAS regulations, practices, policies & procedures.

  14. Demonstrates professionalism by providing quality service and care with respect and dignity for the clients and as a representative of FLACRA.

  15. Helps identify and develop innovative and integrated service delivery.

  16. Perform other duties and functions as directed.
