Kforce SharePoint Administrator in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina

Kforce is immediately adding a full time SharePoint Administrator to our team in support of our enterprise technology solutions client in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina (NC). Our client is an end-to-end services company providing information technology and consulting services to businesses and governments.Essential Job Functions:

  • SharePoint Administrator for the USMC Disaster Recovery Continuity of Service Fail-Over site

  • Supports Intranet sites built on SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint (MOSS) 2007

  • Manages system security, system patching and upgrades

  • Deploys custom developed and third-party SharePoint solution packages

  • Configures SharePoint services and settings

  • Documents SharePoint configuration and architecture

  • Manages site quotas and file size limits

  • Reviews and monitoring usage reports

  • Manages content databases and creating new ones as required

  • Administers and maintains sites and sub-sites

  • Manages security for sites and sub-sites

  • Manages the site layout structure and content

  • Provides SharePoint support to end users

  • Provides Microsoft Project support to project leaders

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field

  • 8570 certification: MCSA 2012

  • Security cert required (or interim)

  • Knowledge of information security and systems administration

  • SharePoint 2010 and 2007

  • SharePoint Services/Portal Server

  • Windows Server

  • Microsoft Networking and Support

  • Microsoft Office suite

  • Proven analytical skills with information systems

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
