Aerojet Rocketdyne Quality Analyst in Camden, Arkansas
Aerojet Rocketdyne is seeking a Quality Analyst to join our facility in Camden, Arkansas .
The Quality Analyst will perform a variety of documentation related activities including hardware documentation package review and approval. Requires interfacing with multiple disciplines (quality, design, manufacturing engineering, customer and government personnel). Requires general use and application of quality concepts, practices and techniques. This position will support the Supplier Quality Assurance organization in the Receiving Inspection area.
Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)
Working under general supervision:
75% - Analyzes hardware documentation to verify compliance with purchase orders, engineering drawings, processes, specifications, etc. Investigates discrepancies of received documentation and assists the cognizant SQE in resolution. Assists with, and creates, Receiving Inspection Plans (RIPS). Coordinates MRB activities for hardware at receiving inspection. Creates plans and procedures for, and manages the flow of, hardware build documentation through the receiving inspection cycle. Assist in the corrective action process. Interfaces with internal and external customers; i.e., engineering, manufacturing, supplier, procurement to ensure requirements are met.
15% - Acts as the focal point for tracking Receiving Inspection related Non-conformance and Corrective Action Reports. Creates and maintains databases, queries and reports as required by management
10% - Investigates and reports quality history as requested by quality engineering or Q&MA management.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and three (3) years of experience in a directly related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
US Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (U.S. Citizenship required). Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit or stand and maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 25 pounds; may require occasional walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
