Aerotek is looking to expand our Journeyman welder roster in Calgary AB , we currently have multiple roles available for qualified welders!

Located in Calgary, Alberta. This job opportunity will provide full time hours, long term benefits with stability and longevity for the right candidate. There will also be opportunity for growth and pay increases.

Description: The candidate will be doing structural welding within the shop environment. The candidate will be doing structural welding within the shop environment. Primarily, the candidate will be fitting and welding drilling products, fuel tanks, and other one-off structural objects using regular mild steel. They will be a 50/50 split with fitting and welding (20/80 split for night shift). There will be use of oxy fuel cutting torches and fit up tolerance is at approximately 1/8".

This role will have both indoor and outdoor responsibilities.

Shift:

Days x1: Monday to Friday 6:30am-3:00pm, OT available after 8 hours in any day regardless of hours worked that week

Afternoons x1: Monday to Thursday 2:30pm-1:00am, OT available after 10 hours in any day regardless of hours worked that week - 3 dollar premium for afternoons

Skills & Qualifications:

• Journeyman Welder Certificate - +5 years experience

• CWB - Flux

• Fluxcore welding experience

• Aluminum welding experience

• Mild structural steel experience

• Fitting experience (skids, ladders, handrails, platforms)

• Experience with parts for Oil & Gas

• Own tools – fitting tools, grinders, tape measures, measures, digital level, “standard tools”
