Job Description

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria

    * Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures

    * Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality

    * Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls

    * Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care

    * Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedure

3 SHIFTS OPEN: 1st - 8-4:30

2nd- 3:30-11 or 12

3rd: Friday, Sat or Sun 7a-7p

Skills and Requirements

-4 yr bachelors in biology (slight flexibility of chem or related science)

-Can be fresh out of school to qualify for the tech trainee -ASCP certification is a plus null
