Job Description Summary

As a Site Planning Lead Designer, you will be responsible for project operations and programs support including standardization, quality management, document management, methods creation and maintenance, process improvement and tools for the project management function. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preparation and maintenance of localized templates and blocks libraries. Administration of translated templates, ensuring compliance with PIM and global standards. Administration and review of all necessary data along template updates.

  • Continuous knowledge and understanding growth, investigation on common issues and questions coming from modality team. Communication with ISLs and Engineering to find answers to technical questions.

  • Cooperation with peers (local and global SMEs) and customers (Project Managers of Installation) to ensure finding the right solution and resolving issues in a smooth and efficient way. Continuous update of rules and guidelines as per the latest information.

  • Preparation and facilitation of technical trainings for newly joining designers. Ongoing training with important updates for the whole modality team.

  • Collaboration with DCM and Team Leaders on DC process design, training design and full DC team initiatives.

  • Monitoring modality KPI data and understanding the root cause behind the results. Sharing information and ideas for resolution with team leaders.

  • Supporting daily drawings production (80% of time) in multiple modalities

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in STEM or architecture or equivalent work experience.

  • Extensive experience in site planning and AutoCAD (2-3 years).

  • Good knowledge of MS Office – especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

  • Strong attention to details. Ability to resolve technical issues with little or no external support.

  • Ability to plan work and work with a high degree of autonomy.

  • Skilled to grow into individual specialist role.

  • Requires strong problem solving, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.

  • Experience with project management.

  • Experience with training, explaining complex issues to peers and/or customers.

  • Good understanding of performance metrics. Ability to read and analyze data, make decisions based on data.
