We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Brunswick, Georgia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and clerical tasks related to the maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions. This role requires proficiency in three-way matching, invoicing, reconciliations, and handling incoming calls and mail. The Accounts Payable Specialist will primarily focus on high-volume accounts payable activities, comprising approximately 75% of the role, with ample opportunities for career advancement within our organization. Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents to ensure accuracy and completeness of transactions.

• Process vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to established procedures and policies.

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise.

• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve payment-related matters.

• Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and account reconciliations.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions and related documentation.

• Handle incoming calls and mail related to accounts payable inquiries and other administrative tasks as needed.

• Collaborate with other members of the finance team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
