Job Description:

Processing Voluntary Corporate Action events for Fixed income products on the legacy 187 platform (Impact).

  • Notifications to the various desks informing them of the voluntary events, and advising of the deadline to elect. In addition there is interaction with the street due to trades, borrow and Loan transactions, and repo activity.

  • Soliciting of elections and then executing those elections into DTC 187, and or Euro-clear. Additionally communicating liabilities to short books, external parties (Loans, and F/R's)

  • Payments booking trade tickets with the desks.

  • Reconciliation to ensure there are no breaks ( cash and or assets) resulting from the corporate action.

In summary the creation of Events, the notification and the soliciting of elections from the desk. The individual will need to work independently and have the ability to adhere to tight deadlines while multitasking.

  • 7 to 10 years of Corporate Action experience.

  • Extensive knowledge of DTC, Euclid, and Impact.

  • Knowledge of impact is a plus.
