Description

We are seeking a part-time bookkeeper located out of Bridgewater, New Jersey, for a client in the property management industry. The position involves bookkeeping duties and accurate record-keeping of property-related transactions, expense tracking, account reconciliation, and management of accounts payable and receivable. This person must be very experienced in Accounting software.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for property-related transactions

• Track and document expenses

• Perform regular reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of the accounts

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Conduct data entry tasks with precision

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial functions

• Carry out month-end close procedures

• Process payroll and journal entries

• Ensure accurate bookkeeping practices are upheld at all times.

Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Skilled in Bank Reconciliations

• Solid background in Bookkeeping

• Capable of performing Data Entry tasks

• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel

• Familiar with Month End Close procedures

• Experience with Payroll management

• Ability to prepare and manage Journal Entries
