Job Description:

This position is responsible for scheduling closings, preparing residential and consumer loan files for the closing attorney or branch. In addition, this position responds to a variety of issues from internal and external contacts.

Responds to and resolves a variety of issues from internal and external contacts related to the scheduling of closings and the execution of closing documents.

Tracks closing packages to ensure receipt in a timely manner.

Evaluates loan documents for accuracy and completion.

Tracks and reports closing errors to management for educational purposes.

Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies.

Job Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalency required.

1-3 years relevant experience.

Effective PC skills including word processing, internal and industry standard systems. Ability to learn to use additional applications as needed.

Working knowledge of, or the ability to gain working knowledge of, state and federal regulations related to mortgage closings.

Ability to work well with a team.

Effective written and verbal skills and the ability to communicate in a calm, courteous and professional manner when handling difficult situations.

Organizational skills and attention to detail are needed to perform tasks in an efficient and effective manner.
