Transylvania Vocational Services Chief Executive Officer in Brevard, North Carolina

SUPERVISES: VP OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, VP OF OPERATIONS, PROGRAMS DIRECTOR, QUALITY DIRECTOR, FINANCE DIRECTOR, HR DIRECTOR, DIRECTOR OF ADVOCACY

OBJECTIVE: TO PROVIDE DIRECTION, LEADERSHIP, AND INSPIRATION FOR OVERALL OPERATIONS OF THIS PRIVATE, NON-PROFIT COMMUNITY REHABILITATION PROGRAM

    ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Protect and serve TVS’ mission and ensure that it is at the forefront of all business decisions

  • Enable the Board of Directors to fulfill its governance obligations

  • Present regular reports on the status of the company’s operations to the Board of Directors and to company staff

  • Provide oversight for operations of all departments within the organization

  • Prudently manages the organization’s resources following budgeted guidelines and any current applicable laws

  • Establish appropriate fundraising strategy

  • Reviews the financial results of all operations, comparing them with the company’s objectives and taking appropriate strategic measures

  • Assure the organization, mission, programs, products, and people are consistently presented in a positive light within the local community, government agencies, and with strategic partners

  • Establish clear Key Performance Indicators for the organization. Monitor, report, and provide ongoing accountability

  • Create and communicate, acting as the primary role model, an inspired sense of core purpose; leading the vision of the future, and establishing a corporate culture that supports the same

  • Responsible for overall facility compliance with any applicable laws, program and regulatory requirements, and current TVS’ policies

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study

  • Minimum of five years experience in an executive leadership role
