We are seeking a Lead Hospitality Assistant to oversee our hospitality staff, ensuring exceptional service delivery and proper training to enhance the guest experience at FMI. This role involves managing operations during assigned shifts, maintaining cleanliness standards, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Oversee hospitality operations during assigned shifts, ensuring guests receive attentive service, excellent food and beverages, and a clean environment.

Develop and train staff on cooking procedures, food handling, and safety standards set by the County Health Department.

Manage inventory and deliveries from vendors.

Address and accommodate guests' special needs and allergies, ensuring their well-being and satisfaction.

Maintain cleanliness and safety in hospitality areas, including guest spaces, the Hospitality Center, and counseling rooms.

Coordinate laundry tasks as required.

Attend and complete required Chemical Training.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Managerial Breadth/Scope of Job:

Supervise and train staff.

Ensure compliance with food safety regulations.

Maintain overall cleanliness of the facility.

Provide guidance and mentorship to employees, offering evaluations and encouragement.

Working Environment/Physical Requirements:

Must pass a Post Offer Prehire Physical exam.

Availability to work 40+ hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to lift up to 40lbs and push/pull up to 25lbs.

Exposure to various elements including cleaning chemicals and sharp utensils.

Knowledge/Experience:

High school diploma.

1-2 years of public-facing and food preparation experience.

Serve Safe and Chemical Training certifications required.

Supervisory experience preferred.

Skills, Abilities, and Special Talents/Gifts:

Effective communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.

Proficiency in cooking and cleaning.

Customer service-oriented with good attention to detail.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Pay Range: $15.00 to $17.04/hr.

Note: Temporary employees are not eligible for benefits.

This position offers a $500 hiring bonus. The bonus will be paid to the hired candidate half after 30 days ($250) and half upon the successful completion of 6 months of work ($250). Employees must be active and in good standing at the time of bonus payout to be eligible for hiring bonuses.
