Taney County Health Department Accounting Manager in Branson, Missouri

The Taney County Health Department is a thriving Local Public Health Department located in Branson and Forsyth Missouri. TCHD is committed to the community and to its employees. The Taney County Health Department will be accepting resumes for a full time, 40 hours a week, exempt Accounting Manager. Duties include: management of daily fiscal operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliation, policies and procedure. Other duties include budget development and monitoring, oversight of medical billing, leads annual audit, and grant reporting.

Minimum requirements

Requirements for this position include graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in accounting. In lieu of a degree, 5 or more years of governmental accounting experience would be considered. A CPA is preferred, however not required. At least 5 years experience in accounting and 2 years of experience in management or supervisory role. Experience in governmental accounting practices is preferred, however not required.

TCHD provides a comprehensive benefits package which includes paid vacation (80 hours), holidays (10 Holiday and 3 Floating Holidays), and sick time (96 hours); LAGERS Retirement system (currently contributing 18 %) and 100% Paid Health Insurance for the employee.
