Presales Specialist AWS Full Time Location: Any of the following: Costa Rica, Panama, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, Chile, Peru, Dominican Republic Hybrid Model Our people. As an AWS Pre-Sales Consultant, you'll play a crucial role in collaborating with our sales team and clients, understanding their needs, and effectively sizing up opportunities. Your core duties include providing technical support, tailoring solutions to client requirements, and identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities, with a focus on integrating AWS capabilities. You will be accountable for: Scoping and Sizing Opportunities: Work closely with sales and clients to assess requirements and align with SoftwareOne capabilities, including AWS services. Utilize analytical skills to effectively scope and size opportunities, ensuring alignment with client expectations and AWS capabilities. Solution Design and Proposal Development: Design customized solutions aligned with client needs, leveraging expertise in AWS services and offerings. Define margins for proposed solutions in coordination with sales and delivery teams, ensuring profitability while maximizing AWS benefits. Draft clear and comprehensive statements of work (SOWs) outlining project deliverables and terms, incorporating AWS solutions where relevant. Creation and Maintenance of Solution Collaterals: Establish and maintain a repository of solution collaterals, including case studies, white papers, and presentations highlighting successful implementations involving AWS. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop compelling sales collateral supporting the sales process, emphasizing AWS integration and benefits. Market Research and Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies, particularly in the context of AWS, to enhance solution offerings. Act as a subject matter expert during client interactions, presentations, and workshops, showcasing expertise in AWS solutions and their applicability. Sales Support and Collaboration: Provide technical guidance and support throughout the sales cycle, from discovery to proposal development, emphasizing the value proposition of AWS solutions. Identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling additional AWS products or services to existing clients. Participate in strategic planning sessions to contribute insights for business growth and expansion, with a focus on leveraging AWS capabilities. #LI-GR1 What we need to see from you Skills: Highly motivated and results oriented – evidence of consistently exceeding acquisition specific performance metrics +5 years of proven sales experience, including at least +2 years of experience selling AWS products and services, with documented successful sales of enterprise-wide solutions & services (Professional & Managed Services) Ability to independently conduct meetings with engineering-level, management-level or executive level customer personnel in regard to positioning complex solutions & services Ability to build broad networks within enterprise accounts across IT operations, project teams, architects, security, software managers, procurement and commercial teams; High level of knowledge of internal organization working and Information Technology trends Ability to build relationships and quickly develop trust with C-level executives Proven track record of consistently exceeding corporate objectives, quotas & targets Cloud Services Skills: Evidenced network of AWS contacts Solid understanding of AWS principles, architecture and management Understanding of IaaS, PaaS service delivery Understanding around migration planning & execution including migration to Azure, re-platforming of on-premises solutions to cloud-native incl. compute, network and storage, logging & monitoring; Proposing problem solving activities and approaches for dynamic customer challenges within engagements Technology and business enablement advocate to advise the best practice methods in how to utilize IT to drive competitive advantage. Experience in building value propositon around implementing Hybrid Cloud solution projects.
