Hours: Monday - Friday, 6 am 4/5 pm Benefits of the dispatch coordinator: Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Disability, accident, and critical insurance Flexible Spending Account Duties of the dispatch coordinator: Ensure dispatching and deliveries are punctual and within budget. Implement and uphold quality assurance protocols aligned with DOT and company safety standards. Utilize insights on connected properties to optimize delivery truck logistics. Serve as backup for delivery drivers as necessary. Schedule drivers' work hours to align with branch objectives. Monitor staffing needs and recruit new employees as required. Provide training and coaching to enhance performance. Collaborate with other departments such as other department management to ensure smooth operations. Manage day-to-day dispatch operations efficiently using industry knowledge and logic. Requirements of the dispatch coordinator: Pass pre-employment drug screening. Two years of warehouse experience Familiarity with DOT requirements and regulations. Ability to assist drivers in loading trucks. Forklift experience.
