Job Description:

This position is responsible for serving as the primary point of contact for all service related needs of Private Banking clients. This position is responsible for establishing, maintaining and building client relationships.

Principal Responsibilities:

Utilizes understanding of consumer and commercial loan requirements to request appropriate documentation according to the loan approval.

Reviews all new loan and deposit account information for accuracy including review of trust documents, legal opinions, authorization documents and processes the account documents to facilitate account opening in adherence with all existing policies and procedures.

Provides a high level of varied and complex support to Private Banking clients within the region. This support requires a strong understanding of the products and services provided, as well as the specialized needs of Private Banking clients.

Manages daily client transactions and inquiries accurately, within established deadlines, and in accordance with existing policies and procedures.

Researches, follows up and resolves client inquiries and problems through effective interaction with clients, bankers, product partners, branch and operations areas and other staff in a timely and professional manner.

Facilitates the coordination of events and presentations attended by Private Banking clients, prospects and centers of influence.

Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies.

Job Requirements:

College degree or equivalent experience required.

2-5 years relevant experience.

Additional Job Requirements:

Excellent PC skills including word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, internet and industry specific programs. Ability to learn reporting tools of applicable systems.

Excellent communication skills to effectively build strong client and internal relationships, and research and resolve a wide variety of client issues.

Flexibility to respond to multiple ad hoc assignments or situations to support Private Bankers.

Broad understanding of Private Banking principles and strategies. Ability to acquire and maintain changing product information for all products supported. Knowledge of a broad range of technical knowledge to complete daily banking transactions.

Ability to foster and cultivate strong and effective working relationships with clients and other internal and external contacts.

Ability to work independently and use own discretion when faced with decision making.
