BHS Summer School Para This position will oversee high school students earning credit recovery through APEX online classes. The students will come onsite two days a week for additional support while the remaining time they will be expected to work online at home. Schedule: This position will work on-site on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:45 - 11:15. Students are onsight from 9:00-11:00. This individual will be paid for one additional hour to monitor the online needs of students throughout the other three days of the week. Summer School Dates: June 10th - 27th Hourly Wage:$18.21Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Previous experience working with students in a school setting. Ability to work well under pressure, set priorities, and handle confidential matters while maintaining a calm demeanor. The ability to greet and deal with school staff, students, and public appropriately and courteously. Provide instructions based on lesson plans and assist individual students in comprehending concepts. Must be able to communicate effectively with students. teachers, staff and in some cases parents.
