What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support facility upgrades and maintenance-related Engineering efforts at Naval Surface Warfare Center – Carderock Division (NSWCCD). This position is in Bethesda, MD and is 100% on-site with option to telework.

More About the Role:

  • Design and development of specialized upgrades to address customized facility and/or testing needs.

  • Develop, create, and review engineering plans.

  • Develop cost estimates and proposals for facility upgrades based on customer goals/specifications.

  • Review existing facilities/sites.

  • Work with engineers from other disciplines to create comprehensive upgrade plans (HVAC, electrical wiring, piping, etc).

  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for installation of facility improvements.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related experience in construction or facilities engineering environments.

  • Facilities engineering.

  • Project management skills.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and experience with MS Office suite of products.

  • Eager to learn, self-starter.

  • 5 years of experience as a Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineer.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Active Secret Clearance.

  • Master’s degree in engineering.

  • Experience working on a DoD site.

  • Experience in construction.

  • Experience with NAVFAC.

  • Experience with United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).

  • 10+ years of experience as a Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineer.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$66,100 - $135,600
