About the Team :

This role is for the 'Talent Management' platform.

Eightfold’s Talent Management product is used in organizations to improve retention and employee experience, including upskilling/reskilling and opportunities for advancement, to develop and retain employees by giving them the power to drive their career paths, to identify internal talent with the potential to take on management roles, to take a skills-based approach to talent planning with AI-powered insights.

What you’ll do:

Being in a senior technical position, responsible for architecture, design, code, and delivery of multiple features/projects/products.

Build modern & rich UI, frontend web applications, design and develop reusable components and front-end libraries

Work closely with Product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to address all the technical dependencies.

Lead cross-team efforts to improve our frontend code base across the company and lead a few frontend engineering citizenship initiatives

Mentor/coach other engineers to help them perform at their best by performing code/design reviews, and providing all the technical directions.

Being hands-on, get into the ground-level technical details/depth whenever required.

Actively participate in interviewing & hiring top talent.

Innovate and suggest industry best practices, and participate in internal/external technical presentations.

What we need:

Excellent track record of building responsive frontend web applications

Experience in TypeScript is must, ReactJS is good to have. Solid foundation in HTML5, CSS3 is required.

Experience in various JS frameworks, libraries, design patterns, and architecture qualities of front-end applications like usability, accessibility, performance, etc.

Cares about the details in the user experience

10 or more years of industry experience working with product companies.

Startup experience and SaaS product development experience are added advantages.

Excellent communication skills with a can-do attitude/Self-starter.
