This role is part of the Digital Delivery - Enterprise Data and Analytics Services

As a Sr. SQL Server Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining the company's database systems (On-Premises/Azure), including backups, performance tuning, capacity planning, key event monitoring, risk and disaster recovery management, and documentation. You will have a demonstrated ability to manage large-scale databases with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities, Skillsets and Tools

• Installing and configuring SQL Server including drivers (SQL Server, Oracle, or other Database Server) and third-party replication tools.

• SSMS, SSRS, SSAS.

• Microsoft Power Platform.

• Configure and maintain database servers and processes.

• Monitor system's health and performance.

• Ensure high levels of performance, data integrity, availability, scalability, sustainability, and security.

• Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time.

• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.

• Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement.

• Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.

• Perform scheduled maintenance, patching and support release deployment activities.

• Risk Mitigation and Disaster Recovery Management.

Required Skills, Experience, and Characteristics

• 7+ years of relevant experience in Database Administration, Management and Design.

• Have a strong, proactive work ethic that anticipates business needs and adapts quickly to achieve success.

• Possess an extraordinary open mindset and be an out-of-box thinker.

• Continues to strive for excellence, overcoming challenges and boundaries that are roadblocks to success.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
