Your role:

• Highly skilled and Inspirational leader with about 15+ yrs of experience to build & lead a global team of Software Engineers & Software Architects for Application Software Development.

• Create a vision and provide strategic direction for the team to focus on critical capabilities, while also being the go-to-experts for the BUs in these capability areas.

• Build a strong talent pool with superior and differentiating Software Engineering capabilities, along with an ecosystem of external Engineering Service Providers, who should augment our own Engineering team in delivering high quality software.

• Build strong connect with key stakeholders in the BUs and understand the BU roadmaps and priorities.

• Enable teams to work in an Agile Software Development approach and deliver incremental value to our customers.

• Efficiently allocate resources (maximize Utilization) to bring in maximum value for the department but also for the most critical BU needs (run as a business) and accelerate BU roadmap execution.

• Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth and demonstrate a strong employee engagement.

• Ensure team is adept with Quality Management System and processes to delivery reliable software in line with the QMS.

Software Engineering & Components is a department within Innovation Engineering focusing on all the Software Engineering Capabilities like Software Modernization, Application Software development and Healthcare Interoperability.

You're the right fit if:

• Have a diverse experience in the development of Software Applications (frontend, backend, Java tech stack, .Net tech stack, Cloud migration etc.) with at least 8+ yrs in hands on experience in developing software.

• Have a strong knowledge of the Agile software development practices, development tools & automation (CI/CD; DevOps; test automation)

• Have a strong knowledge of QMS (quality management system) led processes along with experience of being in external certification audits.

• A good experience in working along with external engineering service providers and getting the best outcomes with the engagement.

• Working in a global multisite context, working in a multicultural environment and also working along with multiple development teams across sites

• Strong exposure to working in Healthcare is preferred
