We are looking for a Chief Project Manager - Railway Signalling Projects

You’ll make a difference by:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, considering signaling system requirements, resources, timelines, and budget allocations. Supervise and manage all project activities, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality control, and project milestones. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, Production, SCM, Bid & sales, Quality &EHS and stakeholders to ensure project alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to achieve project goals efficiently. Coordinate with procurement teams to source necessary signaling components and materials required for project implementation.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and devise mitigation strategies to address issues that may impact project timelines or quality. Implement proactive measures to maintain safety protocols and minimize operational disruptions.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between project teams, senior management, clients, regulatory bodies, and other relevant stakeholders. Provide regular project updates, reports, and presentations to ensure transparency and alignment of project progress with stakeholders' expectations.

  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols governing railway signaling systems. Conduct quality checks and audits to maintain the highest standards of signaling infrastructure and operations.

  • Budget and Cost Management: Develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising safety or quality. Analyze project costs, forecast expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures where possible. Billing and collection plan review with team and Management every month.

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Electrical & Electronics engineering, Railway Engineering, or a related field.

  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in railway signaling projects, with a significant portion in managerial or leadership roles.

  • In-depth knowledge of railway signaling systems, technologies, and relevant industry standards.

  • Project Manager Certification.

  • Proven track record in successfully managing large-scale projects, demonstrating strong leadership and decision-making abilities.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
