Sterile Processing Supervisor
Responsible for the allocation and completion of assigned functions for the Sterile Processing Techs daily function in the Sterile Processing Department and in the distribution area. Performs SPD tech duties as required to meet staffing needs; and provide hands-on-training for employees.Unified by the core purpose of creating a healthier community one person at a time, the members of the Division of Patient Care Services commit themselves to sustaining a culture focused on achieving optimal patient outcomes. Requirements: Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field. Must have previous supervisory experience. 1-3 years experience. Microsoft Office Suite; Basic computer skills; Cerner; Medical terminology; Critical thinking skills; Medical equipment. Sterile Processing Certification within three months of hire. Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, as well as the ability to follow verbal instructions.
