The Assistant Nurse Manager for the Neuro Critical Care Unit (NCCU) is reponsible for
Managing the daily operations of the nursing units such as staffing, personnel management, environmental monitoring, performance improvement and risk management.
Assuring that short-term problems are satisfactorily handled.
Mentoring and managing others to promote quality, safety, and excellence in clinical care.
Promoting and identifying quality improvement initiatives (clinical, financial, operational) that are aligned with departmental and safety and operational goals.
Identifying methods to promote cost-effective use of resources.
Works collaboratively with, and provides leadership for, a multidisciplinary health care team to optimize team performance and patient outcomes.
Maryland RN license
Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing
5 years related experience
Experience should include progressive leadership responsibilities
This position works in collaboration with the nurse manager. The ssistant nurse manager assume unit management functions as designated by the nurse manager.
