Jabra Senior Software Developer in Ballerup, Denmark

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join the R&D department - the beating heart of GN Audio. It’s here that state-of-the-art Jabra communication and music products are born.

Developing and maintaining GN Audio's software platforms for current and future products will be your mission. Ultimately, you will make life sound better through enterprise products like the Jabra Evolve2 Buds (https://www.jabra.dk/business/office-headsets/jabra-evolve/jabra-evolve2-buds) and the Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex (https://www.jabra.dk/business/office-headsets/jabra-evolve/jabra-evolve2-65-flex) – just to name a few.

Working in an agile setup, you will collaborate closely with embedded software colleagues as well as the application software and software testing teams. We are looking for someone, who enjoys being part of a team, who shares a passion for different tasks within Embedded Software Development. Someone who likes the idea of sharing ideas and collaborating. We believe we have a working environment that offers opportunities for development.

The Team You Will be Part of

You will be part of the embedded software team being build up, consisting of 5-8 dedicated developers, who are all looking forward to meeting you! Together, we are responsible for specifying, designing, and implementing and testing of embedded software for GN Audio's Enterprise Bluetooth devices.

Through the Jabra brand, GN Audio has created the world’s first ultra noise-cancelling microphone, the world’s first Bluetooth headset and the world’s first sports headphones with integrated heart rate monitor.

Our solutions implement communication protocols over Bluetooth and webservices as well as operating systems for PCs and smartphones.

As we are constantly trying to bring the best experience to the customers, we imagine you are a person who enjoys being creative and innovative, used to building knowledge of what vendors can contribute, to utilizing the most recent and mature building blocks. Due to being on the edge of technology, you should also thrive with being in a constant learning environment and when a solution is not obvious, researching on the topic is needed.

Experienced in embedded product development with Bluetooth know-how

You know in detail embedded product development, embedded operating systems and microcontrollers. Preferably combined with a natural interest in electronics and hardware as we work on the latest state-of-the-art BT chipsets including SDK. Especially expert level competence within Bluetooth, BLE and LE Audio is appreciated. Knowledge of layered architecture and interface definitions, for easy managing modules.

C++/C programming skills

You contribute with the latest know-how on how to build embedded products, both in the choice of programming language, in regards to development tools and processes; use of the latest state-of-the-art CI/CD tools and methodologies.

You have been working professionally in programming for years. You can develop fully functional embedded software, ultimately with a clear interface and structured modular design up against an ever-growing vendor SDK. Moreover, you have good ideas on how to do well-planned development avoiding technical dept.
