Position Description :

The Administrative Chaplain provides direct and behind

the scenes care of Hospice patients and families/caregivers.

The Administrative Chaplain oversees the spiritual

elements of the Plan of Care which may include religious needs, but also addresses other spiritual concerns which promote patient and family coping. The Administrative Chaplain is also available within the interdisciplinary team to address the spiritual needs and questions of staff and volunteers. The Administrative Chaplain supervises the Pastoral Care Counselors.

Minimum Requirements :

Master of Divinity or equivalent is required. A minimum of four units of Clinical Pastoral Education and/or certification in Chaplaincy or Pastoral Counseling is required.
