Amazon PSA DevOps in Austin, Texas

Description

DevOps Partner Solution Architects enables the partner community in the DevOps industry. Partnering with other customer facing and service teams, you will work strategically with Technology and Consulting Partners to drive customer engagements.

You are as comfortable white boarding complex software architectures with a roomful of engineers as you are briefing an executive audience. You will get the opportunity to work with a wide array of AWS partners, from well-established tech giants to innovative startups that were born in the cloud. You will work closely with few select partners to dive deeper on their product roadmap. You will also have the opportunity to write whitepapers, deliver technical webinars, speak at events and file patents for what could potentially be a future AWS product or feature. You will get the opportunity to work directly with senior engineers at both customers, partners, and AWS service teams.

You should be a technical domain expert, experienced with DevOps both as a philosophy and having implemented its ideas. Experience working directly with customers is required, and prior experience working with partner solutions is a plus.

Previous experience with AWS Code family service is desired but not required.

This position can be based in anywhere in the United States where we have major AWS presence including Seattle, San Francisco, Austin, Boston, Dallas, New York, Atlanta, Irvine, Denver, Chicago, Phoenix, and DC. U.S. Relocation offered from within the United States to office locations only.

Up to 30% domestic travel is required.

Work/Life Balance

Our team also puts a high value on work-life balance. Striking a healthy balance between your personal and professional life is crucial to your happiness and success here, which is why we aren’t focused on how many hours you spend at work or online. Instead, we’re happy to offer a flexible schedule so you can have a more productive and well-balanced life—both in and outside of work.

Mentorship & Career Growth

Our team is dedicated to supporting new members. We have a broad mix of experience levels and tenures, and we’re building an environment that celebrates knowledge sharing and mentorship. Our senior members enjoy one-on-one mentoring and thorough, but kind, code reviews. We care about your career growth and strive to assign projects based on what will help each team member develop into a better-rounded engineer and enable them to take on more complex tasks in the future.

Inclusive and Diverse Culture

Here at AWS, we embrace our differences. We are committed to furthering our culture of inclusion. We have twelve employee-led affinity groups, reaching 40,000 employees in over 190 chapters globally. We have innovative benefit offerings, and we host annual and ongoing learning experiences, including our Conversations on Race and Ethnicity (CORE) and AmazeCon (gender diversity) conferences.
