Responsibilities

We are seeking a Sr Practice Manager for the Advanced Customer Support [ACS] team within the Shared Resource Team in our Austin, Texas office. This is an office based role with the expectation of being in office 5 days a week.

The Shared Resource Team [SRT] is the development engine of Oracle NetSuite. We cultivate the professional development of our college graduate and veteran hires while inspiring a culture of collaboration, inclusiveness, community development and commitment to NetSuite’s future. The ACS team within the SRT focuses these individuals on early-career opportunities with a goal of transitioning team members into productive Individual Contributor consulting roles in our Advanced Customer Support organization. ACS is an acknowledged authority within the Oracle NetSuite Global Business Unit (GBU), providing subject matter expertise and consulting services to the GBU’s largest, strategic and most challenging customers around the globe. The ACS team works with these important customers to understand their business requirements and assists customers post implementation with improving their adoption and expanding their usage of NetSuite.

The ACS Sr Practice Manager has the primary responsibility to lead and build a world class team within the organization’s Shared Resource Team. This involves driving customer success and retention, leading to top line growth, client reference ability and profit. Key performance indicators include:

  • Inspire, lead and develop our people

  • Manage and drive retention

  • Achieve above target hours and target utilization

  • Deliver customer success

  • Drive process efficiency and optimization

  • Partner with enabling groups; account management, sales, staffing, enablement and verticals

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide leadership, direction and coaching to a large managed services team

  • Manage performance management processes for the aligned ACS team

  • Develop and drive strategic and operational plans for the practice through effective planning, communication and team leadership

  • Attain revenue goals (through billable hours) and maximize ACS profitability through accurate forecasting and effective management of the cost center

  • Drive the continuous evolution of ACS through incorporation of best practices, consistent, high quality and repeatable solutions, and by building a strong ACS team and brand

  • Collaborate with other groups and leaders to optimize processes related to project staffing, assessing and developing consultant skills

Preferred Qualifications/Skills include:

  • 10+years of experience relevant to this position including 6+ years of consulting and 4+ years of Practice and/or Project Management experience.

  • An authentic, engaging, and motivating leader who has led medium to large teams, effectively managed volume and scale, and generated significant annual revenue

  • A track record of developing the skills and careers of direct reports

  • Specific experience consulting to and/or working with medium to enterprise scale organizations

  • Demonstrated success as a customer facing consultant; experience in translating customer business requirements into workable software solutions

  • Experience implementing packaged enterprise application solutions such as NetSuite, Oracle, OpenAir, SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards or Dynamics

  • Proven customer engagement skills and track record of delivering, deploying and implementing large enterprise SaaS or cloud-based technologies.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in a technical or business discipline

  • Formal project management methods experience a plus

  • Ability to travel as needed; up to 25%

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $106,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
