This role enables Nestlé Sales Organization (NSO) to be seen as the best consumer packaged goods company in the U.S. and deliver on our priorities and strategies, this role will develop and implement strategic internal and customer-facing programs and events that demonstrate consumer obsession, innovative thinking, and value in the industry. This role will also support the Strategic Planning initiatives of the broader team, understanding our priorities and goals, how to track against them, and how to bring them to life through employee experiences, carefully curated content and messaging internally and externally (customers), and delivery to a sales audience through large scale events, to more scaled down engagements.

Qualifications :

  • Develop and implement comprehensive event strategies aligned with the organization's broader strategic goals, ensuring that all planned events contribute to the overall vision.

  • Provide strategic event guidance for market-wide operating companies such as NHSc, Nespresso, Professional Solutions and market-wide functions such as Marketing, Finance, and Sales, as needed.

  • Lead all NSO Planning Events – Extended Leadership Team Meetings, ICP meetings, Industry events (FMI Mid-Winter annual conference, WAFC, Cornell University Food Executive Program), bi-annual National Sales Meeting, as well as explore what events or engagements (internal or external) would be an ideal platform to showcase our portfolio and capabilities. The list of events is not exhaustive and subject to adjustment.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to define the specific objectives, themes, and desired outcomes for each event, ensuring they are in line with the strategic vision.

  • Create detailed event plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and contingency plans, to ensure smooth execution and successful outcomes.

  • Liaison to current contracted agencies that are responsible for coordination and management of events.

  • Single point of contact for all sales-owned, branded assets for customer-facing events such as, but not limited, to food shows, expos, or top-2-tops.

  • Liaison to culinary innovation team to ensure our products play a significant role in planning and content and provide backup support for the procurement of sample products.

  • Flex into projects across Strategic Planning team where additional support is needed on larger initiatives such as ICP.

  • Provide backup support for team meetings of larger scale (more than 15), SLT offsites, or other Operating Company executive-led conferences (as needed)

  • Provide secondary on-site logistics support for L+D (as needed)

  • Responsible for supporting the creation and utilization of templates or trackers based on current business needs.

  • Manage meeting calendar, agenda, and flow of show for any significant function.

  • Create scalable presentations and tools through the sales organization to enable successful outcomes of events.

  • Monitor and evaluate event performance, collecting feedback and data to measure success against predetermined goals and identify areas for improvement.

Preferred experience:

5 years of proven history, ability to share samples of the following from ideation to execution: internal meetings, customer-facing meetings, national conferences, or executive engagements. Preference is to have proven success in planning for a large CPG company. Preference is to have a strong understanding of Nestlé USA.
