Job Description
Key member of a team providing support for the US Army Identity Credential and Access Management (ICAM) Services contract supporting systems on both Non-classified Internet Protocol (IP) Router Network (NIPRNet) and Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet). Responsible for conducting or participating in multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems software. Determines computer user needs; advises hardware designers on machine characteristics that affect software systems such as storage capacity, processing speed, and input/output requirements; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Responsible for creating the processes and procedures to onboard and integrate applications with the authentication service provider (Enterprise Access Management Service Army (EAMS-A) / Global Content Delivery System (GCDS)).
- Support agile development and release management.
- Assist with the migration of the ICAM solution to the cloud.
- Provides recommendations as needed to the PM on all Software Engineering issues and requirements.
Certifications
- CompTIA Security + or higher certification required.
