Amazon Salesforce Program Manager, AWS Network Infrastructure in Arlington, Virginia

Description

We are looking for a high caliber and tested Salesforce Program Manager to be a part of a project with strategic significance and high exposure. In this role, you will be responsible for driving feature enhancements, adoption, and growth of our Salesforce.com system, while caring for our various internal & external tools & systems to ensure seamless business continuity is maintained. You will apply both business and technical acumen in a fast-paced, ambiguous and innovative environment.

Key job responsibilities

•Own and lead the product strategy, design, and roadmap of the Salesforce platform, understand the partner's and internal users' needs, and deeply identify with customers in order to provide a world-class user experience

•Understand the internal user’s needs, and bridge business and technical considerations that result in innovative and compelling solutions for the users

•Define product priorities of Salesforce platform related initiatives and collaborate with engineers to develop the solution

•Overcome roadblocks and evaluate trade-offs when appropriate

•Coordinate and sync product initiatives across different internal teams, executive stakeholders, and business units, by establishing a shared vision and getting buy-in

•Monitor and measure success metrics after launch

•Incorporate feedback into the product development process

•Create compelling G2M and education materials for partners and internal users (e.g., feature descriptions, use case diagrams, white papers etc.)

A day in the life

This role will work closely with our Customers to develop user stories for new feature enhancements in our Saleforce.com instance as well own and develop an overarching roadmap for the program. It'll require working with multiple different stakeholders and leaders to drive alignment and adoption. Our customers include the network acquisition teams and stakeholders include our network deployment teams.

The Salesforce Program Manager is within the Business Automation team that supports the Global Connectivity Infrastructure Development organization. The team has a wide range of responsibilities: we develop tooling roadmaps, implement process solutions, collaborate with peers and stakeholders across organizations to ensure our employees have the efficient tools and processes to execute on their goals. Our infrastructure moves terabits of traffic across the globe to and from the Internet at any given moment, and represents one of the largest networks in the world, requiring complex solutions to ensure that our employees can provide network capacity and always stay ahead of demand.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • 2+ years of software development experience

  • 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

  • Understanding of Salesforce development processes and knowledge of the wider Salesforce Ecosystem

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

  • 3+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $101,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
