Allegient Defense is a leader in advanced technology research and solutions development, and we are growing quickly. We are looking for a Program Analyst with a financial background to support one of our DoD clients.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Excel spreadsheet to track obligated funds and expenditures of performers for assigned Program Officers in the Sea Warfare and Weapons Department.

  • Coordinate with Program Officers to identify and resolve budgetary problems based on analysis of expenditures such as too much or too little funding, performance results, and/or program changes.

  • Organize annual program reviews by securing venue capable of hosting secured meetings, coordinating with outside agencies to create agenda, collecting classified presentations, and tracking RSVPs in Excel spreadsheet.

  • Submit purchase requests (PR) for performers utilizing Navy ERP and PPS.

  • Assist Program Officers in building contract packages for submission.

  • Collect quarterly progress notes from performers detailing monthly spending and updates.

  • Submit presentations for public release.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree from a fully accredited college or university and three (3) years of experience providing administrative, business, and financial support or (2) a high school diploma with at least at least ten (10) years of experience providing administrative, business, and financial support.

  • Experience working with the systems or similar systems listed above.

  • Experience with government planning, forecasting, program budgeting, funding, execution monitoring and reporting against commitment, obligation, and expenditure benchmarks.

  • Experience developing and executing complex programmatic tasks.

  • Demonstrated ability to interface with Government and S&T contractor/grantee personnel to meet program manager needs.
