Machine Operator - Days or Nights - $18.00 - $28.00/hour

4 days ON and 4 days Off!

We are hiring a number of Machine Operators to work for a growing manufacturer in Appleton, WI. The primary duties will be to run the machinery and provide basic adjustments to the product as needed to ensure a quality product. Sets up and operates the machinery, ensure deadlines and customer specifications are met. If you have machine operating experience within a paper or converting manufacturing environment (preferred - not necessary).

• 6:00 - 6:00 - 4 Days ON and 4 Days OFF (NO Rotating Shifts!)

• Training is Provided

• Full time hours with 4 days off per week

• Clean and safe work environment

What will you be doing/Primary Duties

• Performs machine set ups to ensure quality and efficiency of material and products

• Perform the required data checks and make appropriate machine adjustments

• Work with the assistants and understand their job functions: packaging, labeling, opening rolls, splicing, and tending

• Ensure quality of product according to specifications

What do you bring/Requirements:

• Positive, can-do attitude

• Good work history and ability & willingess to learn

• Must have 2 plus years of machine operating experience within a manufacturing environment.

• Must be comfortable with utilizing basic computers, data entry and be able to utilize the ERP System and any other programs/systems

• Must be able to read, understand and interpret internal and external job tickets.

• Strong machine operating trouble shooting skills and knowledge.

• Must be able to train on 1st shift and then move to 2nd.

• Maintain a neat and safe work environment
