Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain mobile software applications for medical devices, ensuring high performance, reliability, and compliance with FDA regulatory standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, firmware developers and QA professionals to integrate mobile software into the larger solution.

  • Propose technical design and architecture for mobile application features including user interface and underlying components.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in mobile application frameworks including Swift, Kotlin, and Xamarin cross-platform development using C#.

  • Conduct thorough unit testing of mobile applications to identify and address potential defects, ensuring reliability and patient safety of the software.

  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for software design, development, testing, and validation processes in accordance with regulatory and company standards

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

  • 5+ years’ experience designing and developing mobile applications.

  • Proven experience with performing root-cause analysis of software systems to improve performance and quality of the product.

  • Experience in controlling hardware devices via Bluetooth

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

  • Proficient in Xamarin framework, C#, and Kotlin programming languages

  • Writing and maintaining quality unit tests in a CI/CD environment.
