Pfizer Reliability Engineer (1 Year) in Algete, Spain

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for assets, utilities and facilities reliability looking for their permanent availability for Manufacturing Operations as well as for their continue improvement and optimization. Reliability Engineer will look for OEE increase, always in compliance with Safety and Quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Development and refinement of the Preventive/predictive Maintenance program coordinating all efforts with equipment owners and maintenance management to ensure the program is properly approved and endorsed by both departments.

  • Implement root cause analysis as well as corrective and preventive actions to avoid repetition (6-Sigma / Lean Manufacturing methology) and/or develop Engineering solutions to repetitive equipment failures.

  • Work with Project Engineering to ensure maintainability of new or modified installations (reliability begins at the design project phase)

  • Ensures that spare parts list, equipment manuals and drawings/schemes are provided for all new installations and that they are consistent with established standards

  • Update assets criticality as per Pfizer standards and tools

  • Perform reliability analysis (FMEAs, CBM,...) to optimize Maintenance strategies, defining, developing, administering and refining Preventive /Predictive Maintenance.

  • Standardize data introduce in the CMMS tool in order to create trends/KPIs (MTBF, MTFR,...) and analyze them.

  • Reliability Engineer must be the prime user of equipment history information to ensure effectiveness of all maintenance efforts.

  • Implement, Supervise and get the TPM Program endorsed

  • Coordinate Reliability Services contractors

  • Perform Networking with other sites around the world

  • Participate actively in culture improvements and Pfizer programs

  • In expertise areas, act as an SME in order to and facilitate the success of the business

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Qualification in Engineering or equivalent professional experience in this position or related area.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Excellent understanding of manufacturing assets and processes, as well as clean and black utilities principles
