Unity House Teacher Aide in Troy, New York

Position is eligible for a $1250 sign on bonus!

A Child's Place has several Teacher Aide positions available in both our Troy location as well as our Albany location . A Child's Place Albany is location at 50 Philip St Albany. A Child's Place Troy is located at 435 4th St Troy. This position requires you to be on site and on time for your assigned shift.

No weekends, no overnights!

Responsibilities:

Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.

Assist with getting children to and from buses and activities.

Help to maintain a fun and interactive classroom.

Assist with clean up and organization of the classroom.

Help create an environment where children develop and learn to be successful in school.

Promote an environment of inclusion and belonging.

Requirements:

High School diploma or GED. Experience working in a licensed childcare facility or Coursework in early childhood education or child development preferred. Must be able to get to work on time through a reliable form of transportation. Must be able to pass a background check. Positivity and energetic a must!
