Reports To: Event Security Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

SUMMARY: Assure the well-being and safety of patrons attending events at the Arena. Represent the Arena to the general public.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor at all times. Keep safe from harm all patrons and fellow employees. Assist any employee or patron that has sustained an injury. Assure that patrons enter and exit the building in an orderly fashion. Maintain safety of high risk positions in the building such as barricade, dressing room hallway and player benches. Maintain the rules and regulations of the building. Exercise restraint and patience when dealing with a disruptive patron. Direct patron location requests. Patrol designated section during event. Crowd management. All other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Good communication skills. Employee must be at least 18 years old. Prior security experience helpful. HS Diploma/GED required. Must have access to reliable transportation. This position requires a New York State Security License.
