Summit Design and Engineering Services is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling of infrastructure and natural systems in the Raleigh, NC area. There is potential to work out of another Summit office besides Raleigh.

The successful candidate for this position will receive a signing bonus equal to 10% of the annual salary given.

Skills and Qualifications:

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field

• EI required, PE preferred

• 3+ years of progressive hydrologic and hydraulic engineering experience required

• E xperience with various hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software

• Experience with GIS, Microstation, Open Roads Designer, or Civil3D

• Willingness to learn, proactive attitude, and excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience with HEC-RAS 1D or 2D modeling

• Drainage design and Erosion Control design experience

• Municipal stormwater system modeling experience

• DOT (any state) design experience

• Local candidates preferred
