The Opportunity:

For our Neuromodulation Division we are looking for an outstanding talent to join our team in Poland as a Sales and Clinical Specialist. This will be a field-based role requiring daily travelling across assigned area (mainly Lublin, Kielce, Biala Podlaska, Radom, Stalowa Wola, occasionally other Polish cities).

In this role you are responsible for sales targets and sales growth achievement. This includes the acquisition of new customers, build up the Neuromodulation business in Poland, support of the customers in solving technical issues. You are responsible for providing professional support during implants and follow-up visits at the customer site as well as for training the customers on Abbott neuromodulation products.

What You’ll do:

  • Understand the dynamics of the local market and competitors’ strategies impacting the Accounts within the assigned sales territory.

  • Maintain up to date technical knowledge of relevant therapies, Abbott products, clinical practices, regulatory requirements, quality standards and business policies.

  • Provide technical support and assistance to the physicians for implants and follow-ups (both with physicians and patients) throughout the dedicated territory.

  • Develop and implement Account Plans to achieve sales revenues.

  • Regularly check and report back on inventory stock of the assigned territory.

  • Conduct product presentations and perform stand duty at exhibitions when requested, responding to technical questions that might be raised by internal or external customer personnel.

  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate territory records using and provide reports and forecasts when requested.

  • Train on the application of new products.

  • Prepare price quotations and tender price offers.

  • Assist marketing team members or other functional specialists to identify potential new product or business development opportunities.

  • Assist customers during clinical education courses organized abroad.

Required qualifications and background:

  • Education in medical or technical/economic environment.

  • First experience within implantable Medical Devices, Technical Support and/or Sales.

  • Flexibility to travel within Poland (mainly woj. Mazowieckie and lubelskie) and do a mixture of Sales Tasks and Technical Support to get trained and prepared for future growing sales responsibility.

  • Experience in working in a hospital environment.

  • Experience in selling & negotiations.

  • Good IT skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Very good skills in English and native Polish.
