Job Description
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) organization provides a secure, integrated, efficient, enterprise-wide IAM Services to enable efficient and effective protection of P&G information assets and ensure IT access is aligned with business need. The IAM SailPoint Services SRE among others is responsible for continual improvements of operational activities of SailPoint Services, automation, performance tuning, availability management and knowledge management. This role is also responsible for executing ITIL-based problem and incident management processes for SailPoint IdentityIQ either in an escalation capacity or through managing the activities of Tier 2 Operations Analysts to whom problems or incidents are assigned for troubleshooting and resolution.
Essential Responsibilities:
Ensure high availability and reliability of SailPoint IIQ across different environments
Lead response to system outages and incidents with a focus on rapid recovery and minimizing impact
Perform post-incident reviews to identify root causes and prevent recurrence
Monitor and optimize SailPoint IIQ's performance
Ensure SailPoint IIQ meets required security standards and compliances
Implement best practices in identity governance and administration
Automate operational tasks for SailPoint IIQ implementation
Design solutions to assist DevOps, ITOps, and support teams, enhancing software delivery and incident management
Serve as a knowledge hub within the organization, capable of routing issues to the right teams
Conduct training sessions and knowledge sharing to improve system understanding and incident response capabilities
Participate in and supports capacity planning and the development of long-term strategic goals for systems and software in conjunction with leadership team
Provide input and requirements during process and control design by IAM Service Delivery
Recommend, schedule, and perform software and hardware improvements, upgrades, patches, reconfigurations, server backups and server hardening
Develop and provide operational support for full-stack software applications
Collaborate with development operations staff to monitor and troubleshoot the system infrastructure
Increase system resilience and serve larger customer volumes with expert-level coding, bulletproof release, and change management skills
Collect operating system data and report performance metrics to stakeholders
Manage cloud and database system maintenance, debugging production issues as they arise
Job Qualifications
Technical Competencies and Experience:
ITIL-based operations problem and incident management experience with some or all of the IAM technologies described in the responsibilities section above. Note that this experience should include managing 3rd party resources and Tier 2 operations staff during normal, day-to-day operations, leading outage response teams to restore service after interruption, execution of operational improvement projects, and testing required to support project execution by IAM Engineering and changes handled through IAM Service Delivery
Experience managing the activities of geographically distributed team members that include P&G employees, 3rd party service providers, and IAM technologies suppliers using a 24x7 follow-the-sun model
Deep technical knowledge of key P&G IAM technologies:
Knowledge in SailPoint IdentityIQ is a must. This includes, but not limited to, the following:
Knowledge in Java/Beanshell programming language is a must
Knowledge on application connectors (SAP, SAP Java, Oracle, Directory – AD/ED)
Familiar with cloud environment (AWS, Azure)
Deep technical experience on server and database setup and configuration (Windows Server, Red Hat Linux)
Technical experience in using Service Now ticketing system
Preferably:
With ITIL Foundation certificate
Certifications in SailPoint
Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
Knowledgeable in other IAM Solutions (e.g., Ping, AD, SAP)
Knowledgeable in other SailPoint Solutions (e.g., IdentityNow, AI, etc.)
Relational database experience
Experience with automation focused on self-healing capability
Should be passionate about security in general
Qualification Requirements
A STEM degree with an emphasis on cybersecurity courses from a fully accredited college or university is preferred and/or IAM Services operations or engineering experience requirements are as follows: BS/BE - 5+ years; MS/ME - 2+ years; No STEM degree - 7+ years
Available to work off hours during the evenings and weekends as required, sometimes with little advanced notice
Experience in operations support for large implementations
