Position: Business Development Manager

Location: Overland Park, KS- Hybrid (mostly remote)

Salary: Up to $60-70K base PLUS 10% commission and excellent benefits

Our client has an OUTSTANDING Business Development Manager opportunity. If you have a proven successful track record of 3+ years of prior technical sales experience, then we would love to chat with you.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain current client relationships.

  • Conduct IT network site reviews and with assistance from your corporate team devise solutions.

  • Review and research service offerings and agreements to present an optimal proposal and solution to client.

  • Prospect new potential clients by attending key networking events, calling, emailing and leveraging social media and other marketing tools.

Requirements:

  • Must have 3+ years of prior successful technical sales experience, preferrable IT infrastructure knowledge

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred

  • Excellent prospecting, networking, communication, selling and closing skills

  • Self-directed passion and desire for sales in building relationships, identifying needs, presenting solutions, and closing deals.

  • Clean driving record is a must.

  • Company car will be provided and travel around the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan area would be expected, with minimal anticipated overnight travel.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a technical sales professional, ideally IT infrastructure

• Excellent communication, presentation skills and negotiation abilities

• Proficient in delivering client-focused solutions and creating long-lasting relationships

• Must have a customer service oriented approach to problem-solving

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities

• Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed sales quotas

• Knowledge of Cold Calling techniques

• Excellent ability to communicate with C-Suite level executives

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, is preferred
