Description We are searching for a meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk to join our manufacturing team in Torrance, California. Your primary role will include the full cycle processing of A/P invoices and expense reports, assisting in month-end closing, and performing ad hoc analysis in Excel. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handle full cycle processing of A/P invoices and expense reports

• Engage in matching, batching, coding, and entering invoices

• Regularly perform check runs

• Resolve A/P issues with receiving department as well as vendors

• Investigate and rectify invoice discrepancies

• Prepare A/P accruals for month-end closing

• Assist in month-end closing procedures

• Conduct ad hoc analysis in Excel

• Utilize Microsoft AX Dynamics software for various tasks

• Maintain clear and efficient communication with other departments and vendors. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is mandatory.

• Must be adept at executing Check Runs.

• Proficient in Coding Invoices.

• Must possess strong Data Entry skills.

• Experience in Invoice Processing is essential.

• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Familiarity with Dynamics Ax, Dynamics NAV, and Dynamics GP is necessary.

• Previous experience in the Manufacturing industry is desirable.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work accurately with attention to detail.

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

• High level of integrity and trustworthiness.

• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
